BACKGROUND
The Nadi – Ba Corridor pan sharpened QUICKBIRD images have a pixel resolution of 60 cm. The images came in geo- referenced, but have an average shift of eighteen meters. This could not be used for 1:5,000 mapping. A survey of reference image points (RIPs) was carried out in the Nadi Ba Corridor to rectify this shift.Download Complete Report (Coming Soon!)
Coverage of the pan sharpened QUICKBIRD image data in the Nadi- Ba corridor with an average shift of 18 meters. The green symbol shows the original position of the image while the red symbol shows the recorded GPS position.
